Love Marlow Life was born from a desire to shine a spotlight on the hidden gems of Marlow—from the innovative artisans and independent shops to the wellness experts helping us all lead healthier lives. We provide a space where local voices are heard and where residents can discover new ways to shop, eat, and thrive right on their doorstep.

Krista Madden

Love Marlow Life is the passion project of local resident and digital media pioneer, Krista Madden.

With a career spanning over two decades at the forefront of the UK’s digital landscape, Krista has worked in media and marketing for decades. In 2000, she launched one of the UK’s first independent lifestyle sites, which The Sunday Times famously dubbed "The Compendium of London Cool." Her expertise in building authentic online communities led her to found Handpicked Media, the first agency in London to represent bloggers and influencers, helping brands navigate the early days of social media.

Now a proud member of the Marlow community, Krista has turned her focus to the place she calls home.

Krista has organised many local community events around the town including the Summer Solstice Yoga events in Liston Court Gardens, Late Night Shopping evenings and the Christmas Advent with the retailers.

She launched the Monte Carlo to Marlow podcast to explore life’s transitions and celebrate the inspiring people she meets along the way.

With LOVE MARLOW LIFE, Krista combines her background in digital innovation with her love for building community on and offline.
