Nestled in the gentle rolling landscape of Buckinghamshire, Marlow Valley Vineyard is a celebration of English winemaking at its most passionate and purposeful. Rooted in the heart of the Marlow community, our family run vineyard was established with a simple ambition: to craft exceptional wines that reflect both the character of our land and the growing reputation of English viticulture.

From the very beginning, our focus has been on quality over quantity. Every vine has been carefully selected to thrive in our unique terroir, where chalky soils and a temperate climate create ideal conditions for producing vibrant, expressive wines. Our approach combines modern winemaking techniques with a deep respect for tradition, allowing us to bring out the very best in each harvest.

Our journey so far has exceeded even our most hopeful expectations. In our very first year, we launched two vintages of Bacchus - one of which went on to win a prestigious WineGB Gold Award  - alongside our limited edition range, Bacchus 300, which sold out within just a few months. This early success marked an extraordinary debut for a young vineyard and set the tone for what lies ahead.

While Bacchus has played an important role in our early success, our vineyard is home to a carefully selected mix of grape varieties, including Pinot Noir, Meunier, and Chardonnay. These classic varieties thrive in our conditions and form the backbone of our future wines, particularly as we look ahead to producing high-quality English sparkling wine. Alongside this, Bacchus continues to showcase the vibrant, aromatic style that has already become a signature of Marlow Valley Vineyard.

Looking ahead, 2026 is shaping up to be an exciting and pivotal year for Marlow Valley Vineyard. We are delighted to be introducing our very first Rosé, a natural next step in expanding our portfolio. Crafted with the same attention to detail and commitment to excellence as our Bacchus, this Rosé promises to be fresh, elegant, and perfectly suited to long summer days. It has been carefully developed to complement our existing range, offering something new while maintaining the distinctive style that defines our wines.

At the same time, we remain focused on our long-term vision. Currently maturing quietly behind the scenes is our first sparkling wine, which we anticipate releasing in 2027/28. English sparkling wine has earned global recognition in recent years, and we are proud to be part of this exciting movement. Patience is key in this process, and we are allowing our wine the time it needs to develop the complexity, finesse, and balance that will make it truly special.

As we move into our second year, we are filled with both gratitude and ambition. The overwhelming support we have received - from our local community in Marlow to customers further afield - has been instrumental in our early success. Our Gold Award plus selling out our first Limited Edition release was a milestone we will never forget, and it has only strengthened our commitment to delivering wines that people genuinely love.

Marlow Valley Vineyard is more than just a place where wine is made; it is a reflection of the people, the landscape, and the spirit of innovation that defines modern English winemaking. We are proud to be part of the “Made in Marlow” story, contributing something truly local yet increasingly recognised beyond our region.

As we look to the future, our goal remains the same: to create wines that are authentic, high-quality, and deeply connected to our home. With a new Rosé on the horizon, our Bacchus continuing to shine, and an exciting sparkling release in the years ahead, this is just the beginning of our journey.
