Cotswold Contemporary Gallery are welcoming Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen to the Marlow gallery on Saturday 4th July. Everyone is welcome to the gallery to meet the artist and view his latest exhibition, Drawn to Adorn. The gallery shared news with us about the exhibition.
"We are delighted to announce that the iconic Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen will be joining us on tour this summer to unveil his exquisite new collection, Drawn to Adorn.
For the first time, Laurence’s original works will travel across the country as part of a series of prestigious exhibitions, giving more people than ever before the opportunity to experience his artwork in person.
Drawn to Adorn presents a fabulously glamorous collection of works on paper that are unapologetically decorative. Drawing inspiration from sources as diverse as Baroque botanical prints and 1980s post-punk cinema, these technically masterful large-scale pieces celebrate Laurence’s unmistakable flair for drama and ornamentation.

The collection has been thoughtfully curated into three captivating standalone sub-series, each designed to present a distinctive and truly unique exhibition.
Laurence will be heading to our beautiful gallery in Marlow on Saturday 4th July.

About Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen as an artist.
Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen is a classically trained Fine Artist and his works have an unapologetic figurative sophistication inspired by traditional high art subject matter and technique. Like many, lockdown inspired LLB to look into different ways of expressing creativity, in his case it marked a hugely successful return to easel painting. .
