Meet Monika Then, Nail Artist in Marlow

Hi, I’m Monika Then, a Nail Artist and Educator with over 20 years of experience in the nail industry.

I run a private nail salon and training academy in Marlow, based upstairs at My Beauty Doctor Clinic on Chapel Street. I trained in both Poland and the UK with international nail educators and have taken part in many competitions over the years, where I’ve been lucky enough to win multiple awards.

I also live in Marlow, so being part of the local community means a lot to me. I love supporting other small businesses and building genuine connections with my clients.

I offer a wide range of treatments, including gel polish manicures, Russian manicures, builder gel (BIAB), nail extensions (hard gel, acrylic, acrylogel and polygel), as well as pedicures and toenail reconstruction. Nail art is a huge passion of mine and a big part of what I do—I love creating unique, personalised designs, whether you’re after something simple and natural or bold and detailed.

My salon is a private, one-to-one space, so every appointment is calm, relaxed, and focused entirely on you. I take hygiene and nail health very seriously, and my aim is always to create beautiful, long-lasting nails while keeping your natural nails in the best possible condition.

Over 10 years ago, I also became a nail educator, as I love sharing my knowledge and helping others grow in the industry. I offer accredited courses for complete beginners as well as advanced training for nail technicians looking to improve their skills.
